Ever since he was little, Claudio grew up thinking he was going to be a designer. He hadn't realized which field to be in, 'till he enrolled at the Advertising program at the Academy of Art College. Today, Claudio is working in the creative department at Goodby Silverstein and Partners.
From birth, to the age of ten, Claudio was raised in Rome, Italy and later moved to the island of Malta. He spent two years in Malta learning the English language before having to move to Boston where his mother was originally from. Claudio spent 10 years living in Boston, (MA) and graduated from Northeastern University in 2001. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design.
After graduating college, he moved to San Francisco to be in: "The most artistic environment he'd seen.” Claudio spent a year freelancing in the city before deciding to enroll at the Academy .

Within the next year and a half I am looking to round out my design capabilities by taking a photography and a Typography course.
If possible, I would also like to use one of my Directed Study courses to develop a one-on-one session with one of my current employer's creative directors at Goodby Silverstein and Partners. I would propose doing three one hour sessions a week on projects for my portfolio book.
Also in the realm of my six Directed Study classes I would like to take advantage of the opportunity to do an internship for credit. I have always felt that the experience you get in the work force is as great as classroom experience.
